We found a Monkton near Pembroke. On the Pembrokeshire Lookup Exchange we found a researcher called Sandra Davies who found a Baptism in Monkton (Monckton) (Moncton) in 1846 and a ref in IGI records. She also told us of a Monkton in the Parish of Wick, Ogmore which is in the Bridgend Registration District. (We looked through IGI and GRO records for this area and found no suitable Maria Davies, or similar names.) We assume "our" MD was born in Pembrokeshire.
We obtained a copy of Baptism page from Pembrokershire County Council, and also a copy of her parents (names ex Baptism) Marriage entry.
We then obtained a copy of the Birth Certificate from Pembroke Register Office.]

"Ours" born 1846. This died 1909 aged 63 in Uxbridge RD; the correct location](FBMD: Sep q 1909 Uxbridge 3a 21: aged 63) [General note: See Birth note route taken to find Birth, Baptism and Parents. 1881 census had born in Mershton Wales which was a dead end. 1891 transcript had WLS Monkton. We found a Monkton in Pembrokeshire and a correspondant told us of one near Bridgend. We could find no suitable entries in GRO or IGI for a Maria Davies (or similar) in this RD.
