EBM C (H) said that they were in Switzerland and her brother told her that Gma Hoy had died because someone had sent their mother a telegram. She was in Switzerland from about autumn 1931 to spring 1933 ??? while father was in Iraq. She thought it possibly came from a soliscitor called Richardson who had dealt with sale of her house. Apparently her dog whined and they discovered her dead. Was she in Whitley and why? She thought she may have been 72 ish

[General note: EBM C (H) says that she was poor but well dressed and a strict Presbyterian. Also that she left her 2 teaspoons which her mother gave her, or only 1 and other went missing. Just before they went to Switzerland Gma Hoy washed her too throughly with lots of soap up her nose etc and since then she uses liquid soap when possible. Also forced her to drink tea which she then stopped doing.] EBM C (H) said that in 1892 she said she was 34 but in fact 36. How would she know this? When and why?? --- Marriage then but age given as 35 ?
